Shakopee’s new fitness court at Scenic Heights Park offers full-body workout equipment and space for group classes. The public has free access to the facility.
Shakopee introduced a new fitness court at Scenic Heights Park, equipped with seven permanent exercise stations designed to offer users a comprehensive full-body workout.
The facility also includes a paved area designated for group classes such as yoga and Zumba.
The project, funded through a partnership with the National Fitness Campaign and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, is one of ten similar initiatives across the state.
The installation includes a QR code for visitors to download an app that provides guided workouts.
Future plans include hosting fitness classes starting in the summer of 2025.
The court and studio are open to the public year-round, with free access.
